The 2 traditional Bulgarian
houses we have with rooms and on-suite for holiday rental at present are in the picturesque village of Jeravna.
Zheravna or Jeravna is in the Balkan
Range National Park and one of the most beautiful parts of Bulgaria, it huddles on a ridge 6km off the main road between Sliven
& Kotel. The spacious and elegant oak wooden houses date from as early as the 17th century. Jeravna has an array of house
museums open to visitors from 09.00am - 17.00pm 3 leva. In the upper part of the village you will find the church of Sveti Nikolai, it is very beautiful and
features a large beautifully decorated icon screen around the alter, outside in
the church grounds you can find many 17th & 18th century gravestones carved with crosses,sun symbols and vividly depicted
dragons.
The village has a lot to offer during your stay, picturesque restaurants
& bars each offering a range of traditional dishes in a pleasant outdoor setting or inside if you prefer, very friendly
café, craft shop with many traditional Bulgarian items for sale, food stores, fishing in the nearby lake, horse riding and
walking along the many Eco paths in the forest and mountains, the scenery is truly breathtaking.
